I have loved animals and particularly dogs, my whole life. I started drawing and painting them as a child and continued off and on into adulthood.I am involved in Boston Terrier Rescue Canada and have a couple of seniors that I am fostering. One of them "Bertie" can be seen enjoying a lovely back scratch in the Spring sun - have a look and enjoy!

I became a Graphic Designer with a weight towards Illustration doing a series of Greeting Cards and various illustrations for clients. It took a few years before I realized that providing a piece of art for someone that touches them in a meaningful way either through spirit or whimsy is what brings me joy.

So the graphic studio of Cranberry Blewe now has an art studio too! I am available to do private commissions and work from photographs. I prefer a picture that is not too 'posed' and captures the essence of your loved one.

You can choose from a traditional, contemporary or fanciful rendering. If you have something special in mind just ask! The artwork typically takes three to five week to complete.
